This three-volume set presents the questions which make up the Coast Guard Merchant Marine License Examinations for all grades of engineering, from QMED (Qualified Member of the Engineering Department) up through Chief Engineer, Steam or Motor, Any Horsepower. Questions are grouped by specific subject, with correct answers indicated. Volume 3 includes all the illustrations necessary to study and answer the questions. Because the Coast Guard continues to add questions to the data base, this Sixth Edition set should be supplemented by the most current "Marine Engineering Workbook Supplemental Questions" which will be available in January 2009. Also available will be an update to the "Marine Engineering Workbook Study Guide - Mathematics" which contains a step-by-step solution for each mathematical problem.
